Design of a Decade
By pages | February 8, 2010
“A decade is a long time in fashion. This is especially true of the period between the turn of a new millennium and the now. The decade that began with the year 2000 opened with some strong opposing forces at work”

In the February issue of pages, out now, Ryan Lobo muses about the fashions of the decade just passed. He reflects on the celebrity focused design culture of the early two thousands and of “red carpet” dressing. All the movers and shakers of the fashion world get a look in and it is interesting to see how much has really changed over the last ten years.
